CarOntologia helps you explore car models on the European market. This page explains what data we process, why we process it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and we never sell your data.

AI Copilot conversations
When you chat with the AI Copilot, your messages are sent to our servers and forwarded to a third-party AI provider to generate the answer. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your messages.
Your Copilot conversations are stored on our servers. We use them to improve the service — including review by our team to check the quality of the answers — to prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the service. Conversations are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. You can request deletion at any time at [email protected].
Sharing creates a public link. Anyone who has the link can read the entire conversation — it is not protected by a password and may be copied or indexed by others. Only share conversations that contain nothing personal.
Shared conversations are kept until we remove them. To request deletion of a shared conversation, email us the link at [email protected].
Cookies and local storage
We use a first-party device cookie to apply fair usage limits, and your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as language, theme and dismissed notices. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Server logs
Like most websites, our servers keep technical logs (including IP address and request details) to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to profile you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we introduce optional user accounts. The current version is always available on this page.
